Shift Engineer

A leading manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Shift Engineer to join its engineering team. This role is critical in ensuring maximum plant uptime through proactive maintenance, rapid fault diagnosis and continuous improvement activities.

Working closely with the Engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support across a busy production facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities across production equipment and site services.
• Respond to mechanical and electrical breakdowns, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
• Work closely with Production teams to ensure maintenance activities are completed efficiently with minimal disruption.
