Our client is recruiting for a Duty Shift Manager to join a high performing manufacturing team. You will coordinate activities on shift to ensure that production targets are met efficiently and safely. You will act as the first level of escalation for issues that cannot be resolved
Shift Manager Role and Responsibilities:
* Ensure all reports are managed and have up to date accurate job description; PDRs, SMART objectives linked to business objectives
* Regular reviews of performance and development need to enhance performance and capability
* As the Senior Manager on site out of hours you will act as incident commander for the site in the event of an emergency (such as fire, flood etc)
* Monitor standards across the factory on shift ensuring that all systems and procedures are correctly applied particularly with respect to Health, Safety and Environment, quality, security, HR and h...
