Site Engineer – Surfacing Team (Wellington) Higgins Wellington is looking for a motivated and hands on Site Engineer to join our Surfacing Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their engineering career who wants to build capability across a wide range of surfacing and civil construction projects. If you enjoy working outdoors, have a passion for pavement construction and surfacing operations, and want to grow within a supportive and experienced team, this role offers a strong pathway for development. 
What You’ll Be Doing Supporting the planning and coordination of daily surfacing activities (chipseal, asphalt, prep works) 
Assisting with preparing quotes, estimates and basic pricing tasks for surfacing projects 
Helping organise plant, labour, subcontractors and suppliers for surfacing operations 
Creating and drafting job work packs for approval, including JSEAs, Method Statements and ITPs
