A
Site Supervisor
(often called a Construction Supervisor) is the boots-on-the-ground leader responsible for the day-to-day execution of a construction project. They bridge the gap between the project management team (who handle the bigger-picture budget, scheduling, and engineering design) and the field crews executing the physical work. The primary goal of a Site Supervisor is to keep the site safe, compliant, on schedule, and aligned with engineering specifications. Core Responsibilities
1. Daily Site Operations & Supervision
Work Coordination:
Organize, schedule, and oversee daily activities of direct labor, subcontractors, and trades (e.g., electrical, mechanical, structural).
Progress Tracking:
Ensure milestones are met according to the project master schedule and report daily/weekly progress to Project Managers.
Material & Equipment Management:
Coordinate the delivery, storage, and inventory of materials and machinery on site to avoid downtime.
