Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Open Pit Mining Engineer for a fast-paced, 6-month contract. Flying in and out of Perth on a highly desirable 8/6 roster, you will play a pivotal role in driving short-term planning and pit production.

This is a hands-on role perfect for a technical expert who thrives in a dynamic site environment and can seamlessly bridge the gap between design and daily production.

    • Requirements 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in open pit mine planning and engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Deswik, including design and scheduling modules.
  • Experience with ShotPlus blast design software.
  • Proven ability to develop practical mine designs and production schedules.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
