Teaching Position – Grade 1/2
Location: Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education, Horton High School, 75 Greenwich Road S., Wolfville.
Position: Term; Size: 0.50.
Terms and Conditions: Employment, wages, and other terms are governed by the Nova Scotia Teachers' Provincial Agreement.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality instruction within the framework established by the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
- Implement strategies, activities, and techniques for promoting student learning based on each student’s prior knowledge, skills, and learning needs.
- Demonstrate best practices in assessment to determine next steps.
- Attend and actively engage in meetings and ongoing professional development.
- Maintain and submit all records in online systems and other communication avenues.
