Job Description

My client is on the lookout for a Senior Database Administrator with exceptional experience in PostgreSQL and enterprise-scale database architecture.


 In this role you will collaborate closely with Development and Data teams, designing and maintaining solutions using big-data technologies as the company scales globally. You will be a key contributor to designing resilient, high-performance data solutions for a transaction-heavy fintech environment. The role involves working with AWS utilising tools such as AWS RDS PostgreSQL, GitHub, Redis, RabbitMQ, Linux, Datadog etc.

Database Architecture & Administration

  • Research and deploy proof of concept (PoC) for new emerging technologies.

  • Lead the design, installation, configuration, optimisation and maintenance of PostgreSQL databases (AWS RDS) across production and non-production environments.
