Position at DNEG Software Developer (All Levels) – Modelling, Groom and World BuildingDNEG’s Build and Environments artist teams create high-end characters, vehicles, props, and detailed worlds using tools like Maya, ZBrush, and Houdini. They work closely with Creature and Surfacing teams to finalize assets and prepare them for animation and simulation.The Assets development team builds Python and C++ tools and plugins that extend these DCC applications, improving workflows, enabling new creative capabilities, and connecting artists across the pipeline. Examples include tools for multi-resolution blend shapes, shot-based sculpting, and procedural set dressing.Success in this role requires strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate with both developers and artists.
