Weston & Sampson is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to lead transformative transportation projects that enhance safety, mobility, and quality of life across communities in the Southeast. What you’ll do:
+ Lead and manage traffic engineering projects, including traffic operations studies, signal design, and corridor analysis.
+ Perform and oversee traffic modeling and simulation using tools such as Synchro, HCS, and VISSIM.
+ Develop detailed plans for traffic signals, signing and pavement markings, and traffic control in compliance with state and local standards.
+ Conduct safety assessments, intersection improvement studies, and access management evaluations to enhance roadway performance.
