Responsibilities
- Configure and de‑rig Jib arms (including Jimmy Jib and equivalents) in studio and outdoor environments.
- Install and align Mini‑Cam systems across complex set configurations.
- Set up and calibrate gyro‑stabilized systems for stabilized shots.
- Deploy and operate Chariot camera systems on tracks, including rail alignment and motion control setup.
- Install, configure, and integrate PTZ cameras into OB control infrastructure, including network setup and control protocol mapping (VISCA, Pelco‑D).
- Perform pre‑production system checks and signal verification for all assigned camera systems.
- Interface special camera feeds with OB truck CCU, router, and production switcher signal chains.
- Operate remote camera control heads and joystick panels during live transmissions when required.
- Manage cabling infrastructure (fiber, triax, HDMI, SDI, control cabling) for special camera deployments.
