Job Description

Bring your passion for events to life as a Special Events Assistant with the City of Burnaby! This role focuses on planning and coordinating various memorable festivals and community events.
As a Special Events Assistant, you will support the City’s Special Events Team by developing event concepts, liaising with vendors, and coordinating logistics. Strong organizational and communication skills are key, as you will engage with a diverse set of partners and lead junior staff. You must be available during weekends in July and August, as well as statutory holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and execute unique community events and festivals
