Job Title: Tooling Group Lead, Design Specialist
Location: Mirabel, Canada
Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, flexible hours, on-site
Responsibilities
- Design tools that meet design standards and are safe, functional, and producible, with or without reference.
- Analyze customer requests assigned by the group leader to offer the customer appropriate and effective solutions.
- Produce 3D design and detail drawings.
- Perform design reviews with internal customer.
- Support various projects of engine assembly and manufacturing lines.
- Participate in problem‑solving sessions, project follow‑ups, and technical brainstorming.
- Make technical recommendations to project managers to optimize the design.
- Analyze and disposition non‑conformities following tool inspection/reinspection.
