Speech-Language Pathologist, Augmentative Communication Services
We are currently recruiting for a regular, full-time (37.5 hours per week) Speech‑Language Pathologist to fill an upcoming vacancy in Clinical and Technical Specialty Services. This position will support Augmentative Communication Service. The designated office for this position is London. Travel within Elgin, Middlesex, Oxford, Chatham‑Kent, Huron, Perth, Grey and Bruce counties to provide services to clients may be required.
This position is expected to begin in July 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ diverse communication needs to make recommendations and equipment prescriptions which align with the preferences and needs of clients and families;
- Assist in determining eligibility for Assistive Devices Program (ADP) funding of communication equipment and authorizing eligible equipment following ADP guidelines;
