Sports Information Representative

Band/Salary Grade: U04

Compensation: $25.70 hourly rate

Total Weekly Hours of Work: up to 24

Hours of Work: 3-8 hour shifts, initially day shift, then evenings/weekends based on varsity schedules.

Purpose

The Sports Information Representative assists in the delivery of sport information requirements and the communication of information about the Lions varsity teams, under the direction of the Manager, Engagement & Sports Information. This position requires commitment and adherence to the values and principles of Athletics & Recreation as expressed in the mandate of the department.

Education

College Diploma in sports, journalism and/or media relations preferred.
