As a Spot Welder, you will perform resistance spot welding on metal components according to drawings and specifications. Your role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, fabrication drawings, templates, and work orders to ensure precision in your work.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up, adjust, and operate spot-welding machines, ensuring proper heat, pressure, and timing.
+ Inspect welded joints for strength, accuracy, and appearance, making necessary adjustments.
+ Assemble parts, reinforcements, brackets, and prepare components prior to welding.
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with workplace safety standards.
+ Report equipment issues to maintenance or supervision for timely resolution.
+ Assist with material handling, bundling, tagging, and staging of finished products.
+ Support continuous improvement efforts in quality, efficiency, and workflow.
