Key Responsibilities
- Prepare aircraft surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking, ensuring all areas are ready for paint application.
- Apply paint and coatings using spray guns and other equipment in accordance with aerospace industry specifications and procedures.
- Maintain expertise in the correct handling and mixing of paints, stains, primers, and other materials, following manufacturer guidelines and environmental controls.
- Inspect finished surfaces for defects, ensuring flawless quality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with the aircraft maintenance and engineering teams to coordinate schedules and maintain efficient workflow.
- Ensure a clean and organized work area, adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in paint technology and application techniques within the aerospace sector.
