Senior Mobile Engineer – Simplii Technology
Location: Downtown Toronto | Hybrid: 1 to 3 days a week | Hours: 37.5 hrs/week Mon‑Fri 9‑5 | Rate: $120K - $125K | Duration: Full Time (FTE)Role and ResponsibilitiesPlay a key role in shaping our React Native engineering capability and building a high‑performing mobile development team.Lead design, development, and evolution of scalable mobile applications across iOS and Android, establishing strong engineering practices, mentoring developers, and raising technical excellence.Bring deep hands‑on React Native expertise, strong native mobile foundations, and a leadership mindset to grow an internal community of React Native developers.Build strong working relationships across product, design, accessibility, and stakeholder groups to ensure solutions are technically sound, customer‑centric, and aligned to business needs.Lead a team of 5–7 individuals, mentor the team, and work cross‑functionally with UX and Product teams.Use executive communi...
