Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design products with sound engineering principles and mathematical modeling to meet technical and commercial requirements
  • Perform risk analysis on new products. Plan and execute risk mitigation
  • Provide technical assistance to engineers and other departments for new and existing designs
  • Lead technical design reviews and DFMEA
  • Support and participate in the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes. Rapid prototype experience a plus
  • Issue technical instructions and engineering specifications
  • Integrate new products/improvements into product configuration program to ensure BOMs are accurate and complete
  • Perform customer visits in conjunction with Product Management to develop product specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve field issues for new products as needed.
