Electrical Designer (L4)
WESCAM, a division of L3Harris Technologies, develops advanced optical sensor and targeting systems for defense and national security. Electrical engineers in this role architect, design, develop, modify, evaluate and integrate electronic equipment, parts, components or integrated circuitry for complex, high‑performance hardware systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze electrical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Use high‑level programming languages to configure programmable logic devices.
- Analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests and evaluate results.
- Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
- Generate hardware artifacts including requirements, schematics, BOMs, PCB design and fabrication documentation.
