Become a pivotal part of Mistplay as a Staff Platform Engineer, specializing in Data and Machine Learning. This role offers you the chance to define and scale critical platform infrastructures.
Reporting to the VP of Data and Machine Learning Platform, you will lead efforts in designing scalable systems for data ingestion and real-time model serving. Your focus will span from optimizing compute strategies to ensuring data quality across various analytical workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design ingestion and pipeline infrastructure for batch and streaming data
• Architect the core analytical data platform with storage strategies
• Lead transformation and orchestration layer designs with dbt and Spark
• Create high-quality, reusable feature systems for ML consumers
• Establish observability standards and incident response frameworks
