Staff Product Engineer, Canada

Overview

We are seeking a versatile product engineer who can build reusable components across the stack and advocate for the time and space needed to do so. As a product engineer at Ashby, you will ship features end‑to‑end at a high pace and own large portions of our products from research through implementation. Responsibilities

Own end‑to‑end product development for large features, including research, specification, wireframing, coding, and integration. Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate customer needs into technical solutions. Build reusable, high‑quality components and architecture that scale to tens of thousands of daily users. Mentor teammates on best practices, while focusing on delivering your own projects. Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and continuous improvement of our engineering process. Qualifications
