- Perform equipment safety buy-off and drive the machinery safety program:
- Ensure all Manufacturing, Assembly, and Test Equipment (MAE) is safe (according to site requirements) before release to production.
- Ensure all MAE is equipped with a hazard assessment and an environmental impact assessment before release to production.
- Participate in the review of machinery design and serve as an advisor on safe machinery concepts.
- Sustain and improve the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems:
- Serve as an auditor for the EHS management system.
