MacEwan University is seeking Standardized Patient Actors for casual opportunities with the Faculty of Nursing.

You will support nursing and health education by accurately and consistently portraying realistic patient scenarios within a controlled lab or simulation environment. In this role as a standardized patient actor, you will receive, study and follow a specific learning script with outlined parameters for each learning situation which is led by faculty members. You will be a part of a complex, immersive learning activity that allows students to practice clinical, communication, assessment, and professionalism skills by consistently and accurately representing patient conditions, behaviours, and histories.
