Enhance your career by working as a Strategic Sourcing Manager in Richmond, British Columbia or Burlington, Ontario. This six-month hybrid contract focuses on managing indirect purchasing and vendor negotiations.
In reporting to the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will oversee purchasing activities, including negotiations and contract management specifically for capital equipment. The successful candidate must exhibit experience in strategic sourcing and vendor assessment within high-tech industries across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify supplier needs through collaboration with internal business units
• Manage Capex sourcing duties and technical RFQ processes
• Assess and recommend suppliers through RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
• Negotiate vendor contracts and maintain equitable evaluations
• Track contracts and strategize for renewals and expiries
