Key Responsibilities
- Produce rebar layouts and schedules for reinforced concrete structural elements.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and design teams throughout project execution.
- Produce accurate rebar layouts and schedules from design information and engineering drawings.
- Prepare 2D and 3D reinforcement models and layouts using Revit, AutoCAD, and specialised rebar detailing software.
- Perform material take-offs and estimate reinforcing steel quantities.
- Review rebar layouts and schedules to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
- Ensure project deadlines are achieved while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality.
- Grade 12 (relevant draughting or engineering qualification will be advantageous).
