Quantum Engineering Ltd. is an established structural engineering consulting firm located in Chilliwack, BC. We are looking for a Structural Engineer‑in‑Training to join our team. The role involves working on projects from conceptual stages through to construction completion, providing versatile and in‑depth design experience within a smaller firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Design elements of buildings and other structures in concrete, timber, steel, and cold‑form steel according to design principles and the BC Building Code under the guidance and supervision of a professional engineer.
- Prepare design sketches and drawings in conjunction with a drafter and assist in the preparation of engineering drawings.
- Communicate with clients, including contractors, construction managers, and architects.
- Collaborate with engineering staff, including engineers and draftspersons.
