At Jacobs, the Power Solutions team delivers end‑to‑end services to support clients in energy networks, thermal generation, renewable generation, and storage solutions. The Structural Engineer role collaborates with sector engineers, providing project delivery, design management, and project management, especially specializing in plant design.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for foundations, pipe racks, equipment supports, platforms, tanks, and industrial buildings.
- Build and evaluate structural models under various load combinations such as seismic, wind, dead load, live load, thermal, and equipment loads.
- Ensure compliance with relevant international codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes, etc.).
- Coordinate and integrate structural work with piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
