Anmar Mechanical and Electrical Contractors Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced Structural Steel and Platework Estimator to join our team!
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience estimating in a fabrication environment.
- Diploma in Mechanical or Structural Engineering considered a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, Scheduling, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel, including fabrication, assembly, installation, and welding practices.
- Experience in a QA/QC role considered a strong asset.
- Experience preparing schedules, specifications and reports.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
