Substitute Teacher

Would you like to make a difference in the lives of young Montanans? * *The Montana Youth Challenge Academy (MYCA) is seeking a Substitute Teacher** * This is a variable, on-call as-needed position. Responsibilities include filling in for the absence of full-time teachers, assisting the education department with testing and projects, and other educational duties as needed. Availability to report to work on short notice is a plus. This position reports to the MYCA Education Program Specialist and does not supervise others. Montana Youth Challenge Academy provides two 22-week sessions of development, per year, for approximately 110 youth participants ranging in age from 16 to 18 years in each session. Occasional travel and weekend work may be required. This position is not included in the Academic Teacher Career Ladder.
