Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

:

To manage the process of surveying all schools in the locality for suitability. This will involve the assessment of the number and characteristic of each type of internal and external area and will also deal with some aspects of Health & Safety. The duties will involve collating and manipulating data and presenting this in a form which will become part of the Education Authority’s Asset Management Plan.

A key outcome will be identifying spare capacity in schools.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Organisation and Administration

  • The efficient organisation, operation and control of all matters pertaining to suitability assessments within the Education Authority Locality.
  • Communicate at all levels within the Education Authority’s structure and externally with all relevant agencies including all Education Authority Localities, CCMS, DE and SIB.
