The role involves supervising foster carers, addressing safeguarding concerns raised by a child’s social worker, and providing emotional and practical support to foster families. Additionally, supervising social workers play a crucial role in recruiting foster carers, conducting assessments, and providing training before children are placed in care.
What will your responsibilities be?
Ensure consistent communication among foster families, social workers, and foster children.

Conduct regular home visits and make phone calls to keep all parties informed throughout the placement.

Coordinate additional support for children, such as therapy or learning assistance, whenever necessary.

Support foster carers with meetings, report writing, and record-keeping.
