The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) within Siemens Mobility is responsible for ensuring and continuously improving the quality of supplied products and services within the assigned business area. The SQE implements Supplier Quality Management (SQM) requirements related to supplier qualification, specifications, and performance, acting as the SQM representative in cross‑functional teams and toward national and international suppliers.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Implements the agreed commodity and SQM strategy, including initiatives related to value creation, digitalization, and collaboration.
Drives supplier performance and continuous improvement, supporting development programs when required.
Creates, negotiates, and maintains General Quality Agreements (GQAs) and Quality Assurance Agreements (QAAs), ensuring proper contract coverage.
