DNV Maritime Middle East & Africa is looking for a dynamic young professional to join our team of Surveyors in Cape Town, South Africa.
The position reports to the Station Manager, South Africa Operations.
Main duties & responsibilities include:
Ship in Operation Surveys onboard mobile offshore units as well as ship-in-operation at shipyards and offshore locations according to rules and regulations. Certification and verification of material & components according to rules and specified standards. Effectively interact with yards, owner’s representatives at the yard and manufacturers. Manage clients together with other relevant parts of our organization. Complete project-oriented work, including cooperation in interdisciplinary verification projects.
