Manage, monitor, and maintain Sybase databases, ensuring high availability, reliability, and optimal performance. Perform database performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and troubleshooting slow-running queries. Collaborate with development teams to support Java-based applications, ensuring efficient database interaction and performance. Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical data. Analyze system performance metrics and proactively identify bottlenecks, recommending improvements across database and application layers. Automate routine DBA tasks and support deployments, upgrades, and patching activities in production and non-production environments.
