System Administrator/SAN Support Analyst

We are currently looking for a System Administrator/SAN Support Analyst to support our client’s SAN Storage, Backup and virtualization environments.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent future problems
  • Alert management to emerging trends in incidents
  • Liaise between resolver and other teams within the organization
  • Provide server, storage and systems support to a diverse group of clients via phone, email or portal
  • Diagnose and resolve problems and issues at a more advanced level with focus and attention to detail
  • Provide suggestions for improving and assisting with documentation
  • Prioritize problems; escalate high priority requests in a timely manner
  • Develop an understanding of the customer’s environment and maintain technical knowledge
  • Dispatch technical service regarding hardware problems
