Nature of the work
The take-out / counter person greets the guests at the counter and receives the telephone orders from the guests according to Pizza Delight customer service protocol and may have to execute various tasks to help the other dining room employees. They may perform the same functions as the hosts.
Main functions
Has a professional appearance;
Applies health regulations as to cleanliness;
Applies safety regulations;
Applies the WHMIS;
Complies with equipment usage guidelines;
Complies with guidelines related to the maintenance tasks for the restaurant and its equipment;
Supplies the service areas;
Ensures the constant cleanliness of his or her work area;
Organizes efficiently his or her work area and his or her work;
Greets the guests at the counter, presents the menu, makes suggestions and answers questions related to food and to beverages;
