We are seeking an intellectually curious self-starter to join our team as a Tax Manager. This role offers a hybrid work environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for diverse clients
Conduct tax research for planning and compliance, preparing concise and conclusive memoranda
Identify and implement tax planning opportunities, such as reorganizations, estate plans, and post-mortem planning
Support senior staff in all aspects of corporate tax initiatives
Maintain a high level of familiarity and understanding of tax codes, regulations, and other technical information
Utilize staff to deliver client projects on time and within budget
Engage with various tax authorities to explain client positions and determine reasons for assessed amounts
