Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant role to work in a Primary School based in Stourport On Severn. This Teaching Assistant's role is to work closely with the class teacher to support a safe, engaging and positive learning environment across their mixed Year 5/6 class.

This Primary school is seeking a candidate with experience working with small groups, excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, and experience with challenging behaviour. Successful candidates will also be expected to greet parents and children at the gates in the morning, so will need to be confident and proactive.

This is a part‑time position working 8:30am - 1:15pm, Monday to Friday, starting as soon as possible until July 2026.

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Good curriculum knowledge of Key Stage Two (KS2)
