Job Description
Technical Expert Contractor – Engineering – Electrical Systems Integration
Responsibilities:
- Participate and lead Electrical Systems technical improvements & developments for existing and future airplane programs (optimize architectures, incorporate recent technologies, etc.).
- Prepare, review or approve engineering documents related to electrical system changes on our Challenger 3500/650 and Global 5500/6500/7500/8000 airplanes (production + in‑service aircraft).
- Propose, elaborate, and test novel approaches to optimize business aircraft on aspects such as emissions reduction, costs, weight, performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead technical investigations related to electrical or lighting systems.
- Conduct trade studies associated with new technology introduction and integration on aircraft.
