Job Description
The Technical Safety Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that safety engineering deliverables during the FEED and Detailed Design phases of oil and gas projects are executed in compliance with international standards project specifications and regulatory requirements. The role supports safe design by identifying evaluating and mitigating technical safety risks throughout the design process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and deliver technical safety studies during FEED and detailed design including:
- Fire and Explosion Risk Assessments (FERA)
- Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA)
- Hazard Identification (HAZID)
- Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP)
- Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments
- Escape Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (EERA)
- Emergency Systems Survivability Assessment (ESSA)
- Firewater Demand and Fire Protection Studies
