Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Sheffield (near Meadowhall)
Salary: £27,000 to £39,000 depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
Most technical sales roles fall one way or the other.
Either you’re mostly processing quotes with little involvement in the bigger picture, or it’s heavily focused on chasing new business with constant pressure.
This role sits in the middle, and that’s where it works best.
You’ll be managing your own customer accounts, handling enquiries, producing quotes from technical drawings and taking work through to delivery. The new business side comes naturally through your accounts and enquiries, not through heavy outbound sales.
