Job Summary:
The Technical Services Assistant is responsible for the following:


+ Administration of all video recording systems, (Exacqvison, Truvision etc).

+ Maintain/troubleshoot/repair/replace, all technical equipment including: video systems, all card access components, CCTV cameras and storage units, all facets of radio dispatching system, etc.

+ Provide recommendations for security equipment and placement during phases of new construction and retro fits/upgrades for existing areas.

+ Process all department requests for evidence involving video and audio recordings including review, capture, and retention for purposes of criminal investigation/prosecution and administrative investigations.

+ Maintain/oversee the Automated Report Management System (ARMS) and NICE voice logger system: create and monitor user accounts.

+ Maintain strong working knowledge of all technical equipment and applications used by the department
