Job Description
- Oversee the technical management and maintenance of assigned bulk carrier vessels.
- Ensure vessels comply with international maritime regulations, class requirements and company policies.
- Plan, monitor and control vessel repair and maintenance activities.
- Prepare and manage vessel operating budgets, including OPEX and CAPEX expenditures.
- Coordinate and supervise dry-docking projects, repairs and upgrades.
- Monitor vessel performance, fuel consumption and machinery efficiency.
- Liaise with ship crews, classification societies, flag administrations and external vendors.
- Investigate technical incidents, equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
