Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and proactive Technical Superintendent
to join our client’s technical team. This role is based in
Singapore , and we are looking for someone with
bulk carrier
experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day technical operations of assigned tankers and/or gas carriers.
Monitor vessel performance, fuel efficiency, and machinery health.
Plan and supervise routine maintenance, dry-dockings, and repairs.
Coordinate with onboard crew and ensure compliance with planned maintenance systems (PMS).
Liaise with classification societies, flag states, and third-party service providers.
Manage budgets for assigned vessels, track expenditures, and control costs.
Investigate technical incidents and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
Assist in the development and execution of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements
Sailed to the rank of Chief Engineer on bulk vessels.
CoC Class 1.
