Licensed Marine Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
Has experience working in the shipping industry; monitoring vessel pair and maintenance, including dry-docking.
Can work with minimal supervision
Job Description
Ensures that the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) is being followed and implemented onboard supervised vessels.
Submits dry-docking work package within three (3) weeks after receipt from vessel, for review by the Group Head and approval of the president.
Ensure that dry-docking work scope is submitted by the Master, one hundred twenty (120) days prior dry-docking.
Provides information to GH of incoming Class and statutory surveys; assist surveyors during surveys and follow up issuance of class certificates and survey reports.
Provides technical advice on purchase of supplies and services.
