Job Description

  • Designs and develops wiring harnesses
  • Uses related 2D CAD software tools e.g. Eldorado, Harness XC
  • Uses harness development processes and methods e.g. VOBES
  • Performs efficient design tasks according to appropriate LEONI and customer guidelines and specification Supports design reviews
  • Maintains high knowledge about wiring harnesses and related production processes 
  • Works in close cooperation with internal departments and related suppliers and customers
  • Uses and performs relevant methods and tools e.g. FME, DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
  • Evaluates product change requests and provides solutions
  • Acts as resident engineer if required
  • Provides technical support for CSO and COO areas and within CTO area
  • Communicates with customer engineering department
