Overall Purpose of Role:

• To carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, inspection, and basic troubleshooting of equipment and systems onboard boats, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair works on mechanical, marine engine, and electrical systems onboard vessels as assigned.
• Carry out daily inspection, servicing, testing, and fault rectification according to work instructions and maintenance schedules.
• Follow safety procedures, risk assessments, and permit-to-work requirements at all times.
• Report equipment defects, abnormal conditions, and completed work status to the Assistant Engineer / Site Manager.
• Support Assistant Engineer in manpower deployment and task execution when required.
