Job Description
Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and support applications/scripts in a UNIX/Linux environment Write efficient, optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting Perform database tuning, query optimization, and performance analysis Automate routine tasks using shell scripting (Bash/KornShell) Monitor batch jobs and troubleshoot production issues Work closely with application teams, DBAs, and business stakeholders Manage file processing, job scheduling, and system-level configurations Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance standards Participate in code reviews and deployment processes in Agile/Scrum teams Required Skills UNIX/Linux Strong command-line proficiency Shell scripting (Bash / KornShell) Experience with cron jobs, file system management, process handling SQL / Database Strong SQL skills (joins, subqueries, indexing, stored procedures) Experience with databases like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server Query tuning and performance optimizat...
