A well-established international company is seeking a proactive and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join its busy finance team. This is a varied, hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage multiple accounting and administrative tasks to deadline.
The Role
Reporting to the Accounts Office Manager, responsibilities will include:
- Processing customer receipts, BACS payments, invoices and reconciliations
- Managing supplier payments and remittances
- Assisting with credit control and account queries
- Supporting month-end and quarterly VAT processes
- Processing purchase invoices and payment links
- Assisting with year-end preparation and reporting
- Liaising professionally with customers, suppliers and internal departments
