Tenure Track Faculty Position - Assistant Professor in Exercise Intervention and Chronic Disease Management

Full‑time position, anticipated start date January 1, 2027.

The successful candidate will be offered a tenure‑track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, including a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an innovative and robust externally‑funded research program involving exercise interventions in human populations experiencing chronic disease, such as psychological, neurological, cardiovascular, and metabolic conditions.
  • Teach graduate and undergraduate courses.
  • Contribute to a new undergraduate kinesiology concentration that prepares students to engage in exercise programming with clinical populations.
  • Supervise graduate and undergraduate students.
